Jitro Girls’ choir is part of the Czech choir JITRO. Members of this internationally acclaimed touring choir are selected from over 350 children in six preparatory ensembles and one main choir. Over the span of 47 years, they have performed 2,900 concerts and have toured 755,000 miles around the globe. In the Fourth World Choir Games in Xiamen, China (2006) they received three gold medals. They have been awarded 39 First Prizes in international competitions from 1988 to 2019 (Llangollen 1988, Nantes 1989, Neerpelt 1996, Olomouc 2003, Xiamen 2006,  Pardubice 2009, Lecco 2010, Pardubice 2015, Žilina 2017, Sydney 2018).

Thousands of enthusiastic listeners have heard the voices of JITRO in prestigious concert halls in Prague, Barcelona, Berlin, Strasburg, Sydney, Washington, New York, Boston, Chicago, Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Hong-Kong, Bern, Brussels, Luxemburg, Basel and Avignon, just to mention a few. JITRO has made fifteen concert tours in the USA, eight in Japan, two in China and more than 220 in Europe. JITRO Choir's discography includes 39 CDs and some of them became bestseller of the studio like with US recording company Navona Records in 2015.

Since 1977, Jiri Skopal has led the choir as Artistic Director and Principle Conductor winning high praise for his brilliant leadership. Pianist Michael Chrobák’s superb playing adds lustre to the choir’s remarkable performances.
