The chamber choir OMNIA was founded at the University of Žilina in 2003, when a male component was added to the female choir. During its activity, the choir has participated in many international competitions, from which it has mainly received awards in the golden zone since the beginning of its activity, but the main goal is to always improve, develop, be inspired and be an inspiration to others.
The biggest achievements so far are the Grand Prix from Gaude Cantem 2018 in Poland and 2 gold medals from the World Choir Games 2014, which took place in Riga, Latvia. The choir organizes own concerts, participates in various workshops, international festivals, but also domestic events, through which we present the art of singing to the general public. In its repertoire, there are compositions of various nations and genres, from the Renaissance to the 21st century. Unconventional, sonically or visually interesting compositions are always a pleasant challenge for us. OMNIA – everything in everything...
